Guys who wear soccer kits outside stadiums

One of the most interesting things about attending any big sporting event, or any large collection of people is people watching.We are a fascinating species, us humans.  And we make some interesting choices when we are out in public.For those reasons, it is a blast to sit back, and watch the sitcom called "Human beings".

               

                                            

Most sports fans are content to pull on their team's shirt and root them on. But what of those who take their excitement an extra step by dressing head to toe in team colors even when there’s no game on?

At any big football match one of the most interesting experience is the total number of people wearing jerseys. I bump into soccer fans who wear the full sport gear on their day to day basis.This is what inspired me to write this.Its wrong,it looks wrong and i bet it even feels wrong.! 

We understand that  you are dressing to support your favorite football player or your favorite soccer team as a whole.However there are some people who take it a little too far.You CANNOT wear a full kit!From the Man U cap,to the jersey ,to the shorts and even the football boots.Yes there are people who do that and I have come across such a person.Its like Robin Van Persie is taking a walk in Zimbabwe.You are just embarrassing yourself.I think you should just leave that in the football stadium,that is the only time where we can understand what you are wearing.

The problem is when people try to walk around the streets wearing such.This is just a fashion disaster.If you are that in love with your team please just wear one thing at a time.Monday you can wear the cap,Tuesday you can wear the jersey.Well the shorts and the boots are an exception.It will be weird bumping into someone in town who is wearing football boots.

This also goes to the soccer players or the wanna be soccer players.If you are coming from sports practice,do not walk around in your full kit,rather go for a tracksuit,as hot as it may be.This is better than making a full out of yourself.

If you are feeling all sporty,rather wear a baseball cap,soccer jersey,jeans and maybe a pair of Jordans.That way you will not get the weird looks when you walk around.

Overweight people and tight clothing

First of all I want to make it clear that this blog is not directed at any individual in particular nor is it meant to offend overweight people. I will mainly focus on ladies, as they are the ones that are always on the wrong side of fashion law . I understand that overweight people are people who have self esteem and are comfortable enough in their own skin that they just wear what they want. They do it because they are the owners of their bodies and they want to feel good in it.However i feel that sometimes they take it a little too far.Here is why...

Whenever i walk around the city,i always bump into unbearable and unpleasant sights of fat people in skimpy clothing.I always see ladies in particular who are clad in tight dresses and  look absurd with huge bellies almost spilling out of their tight fitting tops and dresses. If you have ever seen how they make sausages then you would know what I am talking about.

If you are overweight,you should know the areas of your body that draw too much attention and then make an effort to buy clothes that will cover those areas or at least not draw attention.You do not want a situation where a plus size woman tries to fit into a Paris Hilton dress.A lot of people think that by wearing clothes that are a size smaller or tight fitting,will make them slimmer.NO,this makes it worse,you are actually making yourself look fatter because all the humps and bumps on your body are visible.We do not want to see the loads of junk in your rear.No thank you..Now this is a problem because instead of enhancing your appearance,you are now getting more than what you were bargaining for-a perveted man's fantasy.!

I am not saying that women should not wear what they want; on the contrary, they must all wear what makes them feel comfortable. However, I don't understand those who wear certain clothes to cause attraction when they can guess that it only works against them. Why not enhance your strong aspects instead? Trust me when I say this, fat women in skimpy clothes appeal to perverted men, it is every man’s fantasy to have a fat girl but in reality your dressing really doesn’t appeal if it looks absurd.Showing off your behind doesn't necessarily equal automatic sexiness.

Why not go for clothes that get you less attention? We all want to have that dress that says “Hey look at me” but it shouldn’t come at the expense of your imageI have an overweight friend of mine who says that they were skimpy clothing because those clothes used to fit, and they feel if they go out and buy bigger clothes, they will get bigger and out grow those as well. The figure wearing tight clothes will remind that they need to lose weight.In as much as medicine doesn’t taste good it is a remedy we all eventually will have to gorge down our throats.

Have you ever come across an overweight  man wearing tight jeans? Barely,because they know it will draw unnecessary attention and it is not comfortable as well.It is a sight one would rather go for the rest of their life without seeing.
 
So my advice to you ladies is that,please dress according to your body size and spare yourself the humility.Buy age-appropriate clothing . Here's a good rule of thumb: If someone 20 years younger or 20 years older than you would also be shopping in this department, then readjust. You don't want to look too young and seem like you're trying to hard, but you also don't want to buy clothes that age you.
My grandmother always says that fat people wear tight clothes because they just seek attention.Do you want to be put in this category of people?No i don't think so.There you have it ladies and gentlemen.

Bona's wedding.A look at the outfits.

So we all know that President Robert Mugabe's only daughter ,Bona wed in a lavish ceremony on Saturday at the parents' plush Home in Borrowdale.Let's take a glimpse into what the first family and the guests were wearing.

Starting with the bride,Bona Mugabe wore a body hugging white gown which gently flared at the hem with a flowing train.The whole gown was jewel encrusted and had a collar.I have heard a lot of people complaining about the collar on her gown.I personally thought that it was the one that made the dress gorgeous!I mean how many weddings have you bumped into brides wearing that kind of dress.It had a vintage look to it,but Bona nailed it.

I have seen a lot of beautiful wedding gowns at different wedding but almost all of them are boob tubes or halter necks where they show the women's back.However she still looked stunning with a dress that did not reveal cleavage or her back.

The bride's brother looked eye catching in a pink blazer with a silver ribbon.Trying to match with Bona's bouquet I see.And it suits him really well.As much as we are talking about fashion here,no one can run away from the fact that the young Robert is VERY handsome too.Yes,handsome.Oops i said that twice.Anyway,dont the two just look exquisite?

Bona proved that looking beautiful is not just about the make up because she has little make up.She looks natural.

 The First Lady was looking elegant in a royal blue shimmering dress with huge silver earrings and a black fascinator.She has set a trend ion the cape,I have always seen celebrities wearing capes on the Hollywood Red Carpet and I just thought that kind of fashion was for the Americans.Our first lady managed to rock it considering that she is almost in her 50's but she proved that she can still pick trends.

However,the offside of her outfit is that the cape makes her arms look like they start from under her armpits!I don't know if that is the proper design or the designer made a mistake,it kind of looks horrible.Another thing,she is wearing pumps!Come on,this is a wedding, and her dress was long too.If heels hurt,she could have at least looked for a shoes with a small heel.Who knows,maybe she did not want to look extremely taller than her husband.

Irregardless of the shoes,she looked fabulous.An inspiration to the over 40 women who always wear 2piece and 3piece suits!

Beside his beautiful wife was the proud father,President Robert Mugabe who was clad in a black tuxedo!He looked really expensive and he looks quite different from his normal way of dressing.I mean this in a good way).I love the shoes too which are so on point.However,his designer should have trimmed his trousers a bit because it looks too big.

Inspite of this,the couple looked beautiful .

The groom,Simba Chikoore was clad in a fabulous ivory gold jacket which sat well on his finely built shoulders.

He looked serene and composed and looked like royalty too.His shiny trousers reminded me of Calisto though,on his video of special meat!

Jeggings and leggings (how to rock them)

After the legging and the skinny jean,the latest pants to take the fashion world by storm are the jegging.

These are a cross between the denim jeans and the leggings,a new trend that i have seen flooding the Bulawayo streets.

I remember when i was in form 2,back in 2007,when leggings hit the streets.I had an outing with my friends where we all told each other that we were going to wear leggings.I remember begging my parents to buy me a pair,and they bought me a black one and a dress top that went with it.Boy,was I happy!Leggings used to be worn with a dress top that matched but gone are those days.Leggings can be worn with a top now.However one has to be careful how they wear them.

 

My first time seeing someone wearing jeggings,I thought it was too revealing.She was wearing a waist long tank top and jeggings.The girl was a bit fat and her top was too short to cover her behind.The sight was not so nice,not that i have anything against people who are fat,do not get me wrong.However,fashion trends are for everyone although we are not all supposed to wear the same type of clothes in the same way.This is why you should know the different ways in which to wear jeggings and leggings.

Jeggings are advisable to wear because they are much more comfortable than skinny jeans,they are more flexible.It is a more modest way to wearing leggings as pants.However I have come across people who have a tendency of wearing leggings as leggings.You should know that the two;leggings and jeggings are different.Leggings cannot be worn as pants because they will show every bump and dimple on your body.You can wear a top that slightly covers your bottom.You can only get away with wearing them as pants if you are a bit skinny as long as you don't draw attention.More so,if your leggings are of a dark colour like black,you can wear them as pants but if they are of a bright colour,you would be safe wearing them strictly as leggings.As much as you want everyone to look at you,i'm sure you don't want to be screaming "HELLO LOOK AT ME."On the other hand,jeggings can be worn with a normal top as they are worn the same way you wear denims.It all depends with how comfortable you are in them.

If you want to wear leggings as pants,you should pick a pair that has thicker material because it hides bumps and bulges better.Make sure you are not wearing tights.The biggest offense for any lady is to don tights thinking that she is wearing a pair of leggings.Basically you will be wearing a second skin.

The best thing you can accesorize with your legging or jegging look is CONFIDENCE.As much as your outfit looks good but lacks confidence,it won't be that attractive.This is why you have to wear something that you feel comfortable in as well.

While leggings are more casual,whereby you can wear them to school or for a sports game,jeggings can be worn as smart casual.You can pair them up with a blazer and a long tunic that will cover your behind.Stilletos and accesories will finish the look.Make sure that the jeggings are of a dark colour and the blazer is the one that talks.

Jeggings are not meant for everyone.Unlike well cut out jeans,they do not give a good look for chunky legs and they are not good at hiding flaws.They do not give you room to hide.

Therefore,it is all about getting a pair that suits you and your body shape.If you are creative enough,you can do a few tricks and illusions.

Do you even have a reason not to?

Dressing up has the ability to boost your confidence and your mood as well.This is why i have a compiled a list of the reasons why you need to look good all the time.Hopefully you will be motivated.

• you never know who you might run into
  Because that pretty dress in your closet cost way too much to be worn once

• To stand out from everyone else. 
• You might come out of the B-metro or H-metro tomorrow.So be mindful of what you wear when you go out
•  One day when you are old and your body has grown ugly, you will start regretting why you did not dress up when you were young and had a beautiful body
• You want to be a trendsetter

LEGGING BOOTS?

I was just browsing through Kim Kardashian's pictures and i bumped into a picture of her that got me scratching my head.She was wearing legging boots!

These are leggings that are attached to boots (I don't know if we should call them boots leggings).They are sold as one thing.

Questions that ran through my mind were; wouldn't she find it hard putting one foot in front of the other in those too-tight-knee-length skirt?How far up do the boots go?Won"t she stumble or fall when she tries going up a staircase?Isn't it sweaty in there?

Its kind of a weird look but hey they must be expensive too if its Kim Kardashian.She used to dress so nice and then Kanye came along!I'm not so sure about this trend she is trying to set.Who knows,the leggings could be the next best thing.Maybe soon Bulawayo streets will be filled with girls walking in these legging boots,winter is fast approaching.

Valentine's day fashion tips!!!

Mud is on the ground, and love is in the air. Valentine's Day is finally here.Its that one day in a year  when you show that special someone how much you care.well that’s what the greeting card companies and florists and whoever sells those valentine’s  presents make you believe.I personally think that everyday is a day to show your loved one how much you care.Anyway that’s not what this article is about.
Even if you're flying solo on V-Day ,or just skipping the whole fancy dinner thing , there's still plenty of fun to be had with the other people you love, whether that's a big group of your friends or just your three best friends (me, myself, and I).
Whatever your plans (or total lack thereof) you can still look gorgeous today with the ideas I have for you. Get ready to break some hearts!!!

DAY OUT
Considering that we are still in some,you could juts pair up a tank top with a short skirt and cute little pumps,depending on where you are going.You can wear heels too.Accesorize the look and you will look awesomely pretty!

I'm in  favour of a date look that's sweetly classic, which is a little bit fancy.So a little red lace dress is perfect for this .

  
If you opt for something a little more straightforward like an  LBD(little black dress for those who don’t know) consider some glamorous accessories though. You could wear it with heels that scream in hot!

GIRLS' NIGHT OUT
You may not have romantic Valentine's Day plans, but it's still a perfectly good Friday night, after all. If you're getting some friends together maybe for drinks,dancing ,gossip night or whatever,you'll want to look ready to paint the town red or maybe white.
Go for those short skirts,the tattered jeans,or cropped jeans,They will boost your confidence.Be artistic.
It may just be the right time of year, but wearing your heart on your sleeve (or chest) is all the rage.

ANTI-VALENTINE'S DAY
My idea of the true 'I hate Valentine's Day' outfit? Probably snuggling with you teddy bear, but odds are, you'll have to leave the house at some point.Stop wallowing and go out. If that's the case, put on your best "keep those candy hearts away from me" glare and your toughest basics, including shredded jeans, a biker jacket, and black boots.

Now that's a killer look!
